SDM Artifacts
The SDM site is a typical Paleo Indian site. Typical in the fact that Paleo sites are all quite different from one another when you compare artifact inventories by category, not counting the majority of which are non-descriptive items of uncertain classification.Paleo stone artifacts show an amazing range of shapes and sizes, probably due to the size and quality of the raw material.The SDM site material seems to be entirely of local glacial origin.
